Titanium plate and titanium tank are used in electroplating industry

Titanium is used as a precious metal. Titanium and titanium alloys are widely used in the electroplating production of circuit boards.

Electroplating tank anode titanium baskets, such as copper cylinder, nickel cylinder, tin cylinder, tin ball (rhodium-plated surface, rhodium-plated treatment); gold cylinder insoluble anode (platinized surface, rhodium-plated or rhodium-plated); heating pipe; cooling pipe and some spare casings!

With such a wide range of applications, we should have some understanding of its characteristics.

Titanium as a metal has three main characteristics:

1. No rust

2. Light weight, density is only 4.51

3. High strength (tensile strength 28-160kgf/mm)

Excellent mechanical properties and excellent specific strength (strength/density ratio), titanium alloys have superior properties; the mechanical properties of titanium alloys are affected by the following factors: alloy type, addition amount and proportion, processing method, processing amount, use of heat treatment conditions Wait before.

Titanium also has several advantages:

1. High temperature characteristics

At high temperatures, the tensile strength and creep resistance are excellent, titanium up to 300 degrees, and titanium alloys have stable strength at 500 degrees.

2. Low temperature characteristics

At absolute zero, no embrittlement occurs, and it still has good fatigue strength and fracture toughness;

3. Anti-fatigue

Significant reduction in fatigue strength in heat affected areas after welding

Fourth, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance

The corrosion resistance of titanium depends on a stable oxide film on its surface

Titanium welding

Titanium reacts with gases such as oxygen at high temperatures, resulting in hardening, resulting in reduced ductility at the weld, resulting in porosity and reduced corrosion resistance; therefore, titanium is welded with inert gas or vacuum protection; the weld is prone to recrystallization. In particular, β-titanium causes coarse grains, resulting in a decrease in ductility at this time. In addition, the deformation of titanium during welding is large and difficult to correct.
