Titanium Anodes for Seawater Electrochlorination & Biofouling Control
Ru-Ir MMO titanium anodes for seawater electrochlorination, coastal cooling-water systems, intake protection and desalination pretreatment.
Where This Product Is Used
Yianteng supplies application-matched electrodes for power-plant and chemical-plant seawater cooling, seawater intake and pipeline biofouling control, desalination pretreatment, and natural-seawater electrochlorination skids. Final configuration should be based on the customer’s electrolyte, electrical parameters, geometry and operating schedule.
Power-plant and chemical-plant seawater cooling
Seawater intake and pipeline biofouling control
Desalination pretreatment
Natural-seawater electrochlorination skids
How the Electrochemical Process Works
Chloride in seawater is oxidized at a chlorine-evolution anode. The resulting active chlorine is dosed into intake or cooling-water circuits to control bacteria, biofilm and marine growth.
Common Customer Problems
Chlorine output changes with seawater temperature and salinity
Cell voltage or specific energy consumption increases
Calcium and magnesium deposits form on the cathode
Local coating failure or connector corrosion reduces availability
How Yianteng Supports the Electrode or Component Design
As a titanium anode manufacturer, Yianteng selects application-appropriate materials and coatings, manufactures electrodes to the specified active area and dimensions, and customizes terminals and mounting interfaces for the customer’s electrolytic cell. We also produce replacement electrodes from drawings, samples or equipment data, with dimensional and electrical-interface checks before shipment. Product drawings and inspection records can be provided as agreed.
