Product description

1.Product Application

Anode-side flow field/diffuser material in electrolyzer cells and stacks, replacing carbon-based gas diffusion layers (GDLs) that are susceptible to oxidation in acidic/alkaline media.

2.Core Advantages

-Stability: Platinum coating prevents titanium oxidation (TiO₂ formation), ensuring long-term electrochemical performance.

-Conductivity: Maintains and reduces the contact resistance between the anode catalyst layer and the bipolar plate/current collector.

-High-voltage compatibility: Proven in PEM electrolyzers up to 100 psi.

3.Substrate Preparation

Titanium fibers are compressed into a flat shape, vacuum sintered, and then flattened to achieve a smooth surface.

4.Product Parameters

-Porosity: 40%–80%

-Thickness: 0.125mm, 0.25mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm

-Custom sizes: Available upon request

5.Conductive Coating: To prevent oxide (TiO₂) formation and ensure long-term stability, Yianteng offers optional platinum and other precious metal coating services.

-No pinholes on the surface and uniform coating

-Platinum thickness tolerance: ±10%
